Publish refuses invented dates, numbers, and names
A resume that reads well can still be a lie. RoleCandid does not take your word for a new date, a new number, or a new name. At publish it compares the Word file to the resume you actually uploaded.
The rule
When a RoleCandid Word file is about to become a download, the workspace extracts dates, money amounts, percents, and proper names from that file and from the source resume that belongs to it. If the download contains a token the source does not, publish stops. No File record is written. There is nothing to send.
The check is not a style review. It does not score how well the bullets match the posting. It answers one question: did this file invent a date, a number, or a name that was not in the resume you supplied?
What counts as invented
A year that does not appear in the source. A month-year pair that does not appear. A dollar figure, a percent, or a count that does not appear. An employer, school, or other proper name that does not appear.
Rewording a supported bullet is allowed. Moving a supported project higher is allowed. Closing a gap by adding a year, a team size, or a company that was never in the source is not allowed.
When the refusal shows up
The chat can look finished and the file can still be refused at publish. That is the point. The gate sits on the write that creates a download record, not on a warning in the transcript that you could skip.
If publish refuses the file, go back to the source resume. Either the fact is there and the check needs the same spelling, or the fact is not there and it does not belong in the download.
What this does not do
RoleCandid does not verify that a supported fact is true in the world. If the source resume already contains an inflated number, the gate will not catch it. You still verify every claim before you send the file.
The gate also does not guarantee interviews or offers. It only refuses a class of invention at the moment a download would otherwise exist.
