Tailor a resume to one job posting
The job is not “make the resume sound stronger.” The job is: take the posting in front of you, keep only the experience you can support, and produce a version of the resume that a reviewer can open in Word.
What you bring
You need the target job description and your current resume. Project notes help when the resume is thin. Limits you already know also help: a date you cannot support, an employer you will not name, a metric you have not verified.

What the workspace does
RoleCandid matches the posting to experience that is already in the resume you uploaded. It can move a supported project higher, rewrite a bullet so it names the requirement, and drop duties that do not belong to this role.
It does not fill a gap. If the posting asks for team supervision and the resume has none, that requirement stays a gap. The workspace will not invent a headcount, a title, or a year to close it.
What you get back
The output of a completed tailor job is a Word file you can download. The file is a revision of the resume you supplied, not a new biography. Cover letters use the same path when you ask for a letter instead of a resume.
Open the download and read it against the posting and against the original. The useful question is which requirement still has no evidence, not whether the prose sounds more confident.
What you remain responsible for
You verify every experience and achievement claim before you send anything. RoleCandid will not guarantee interviews or offers. Application materials are a version for you to review and export.
If a number, date, or employer in the draft is not in the source resume, do not keep it. The publish step will refuse that file anyway; catching it yourself is faster.
Does RoleCandid have a public API or MCP integration?
No. RoleCandid does not currently publish a public API or MCP integration. The public surface is this task guidance; signing in opens the conversation where you share the job description and your current resume and get role matching, evidence-backed drafting, version comparison, and export preparation for review.
What happens if a tailored file contains something your resume never said?
Publish refuses it. When a Word file is about to become a download, the workspace checks its dates, money amounts, percents, and proper names against the source resume you supplied — a token that was not there stops the publish, and no download record is written. The revision stays tied to what you actually sent.
